Who’s ready to rave? After a long time of abstinence, Phuket’s local LGBT+ community, along with fully-vaccinated tourists who have arrived on the island over the past week, are getting ready to party like it’s 2019! Are you in Phuket and looking to join them 09-11 July? The incredible XXO Party Phuket 2021 is set to turn Thailand’s largest island, the pearl of the Andaman Sea, on fire with live music from globally renowned DJs, a spectacular stage show and some of the fiercest drag queens you’ll find anywhere – here’s all you need to know for this weekend’s party extravaganza…
What parties are there?
XXO Party Phuket 2021 is actually more than just one event – in total, there’ll be five wild parties to suit every taste. From the ‘Neon’ party, which will require attendees to turn up in their most colourful neon fashions, to the God of the Sea event, whose drsesscode is simply entitled ‘God/Goddess’ (anyone else feel spoken to?).
There’s also the Macho event, which begs for black leather and, if you dare, chaps, as well as a Colour of Pearls White party along with a Rainbow-themed party where attendees can show off their colourful side and embrace diversity like they should!
What DJs will play during XXO Party Phuket 2021?
If you’ve been to any of this legendary circuit party’s previous instalments, you know the guys and girls over at XXO Party Phuket always deliver on music – and that’s because they work with some of the most popular LGBT+ DJs from all over the world!
This year, there’ll be the fabulous Aaron Marc, Daniel Noronha, Davide Nicolucci alongside Thailand’s very own local talent, Gappy and Tackthai. On top of the DJs (well, not literally!), you’ll find the Kingdom’s hottest dancers as well as some surprise cameos by drag queens who will bring the house down with their outrageous stage shows. You better work, right?
Where will XXO Party Phuket 2021 take place?
Ready to go and dance the night away? Of course, you are. XXO Party Phuket 2021 will take over the luxurious and stylish Patong Bay Hill Resort, conveniently close to the island’s LGBT+ centre of Patong Beach. From its prime position atop a hill, the hotel overlooks the glistening bay as well as bustling Patong below.
Should you get hungry between parties, Patong Hill Resort’s friendly and welcoming restaurant dishes up the freshest, traditional Thai fare, as well as popular favourites from international cuisines (French fries, anyone?). Though don’t get too lost eating your way though their delicious menu – there’s a party waiting outside! XXO Party Phuket 2021 is about to get wild… See you on the dance floor.
