If you were to ask anyone about their favourite party, it would likely be one that featured an abundance of music, booze, and friendly people looking to have a seriously good time. Thailand has always been a destination for such parties, the biggest of them all probably being gCircuit Songkran.
Songkran is undoubtedly one of the greatest events in Asia’s LGBTQ+ calendar, and this April, Thailand will again be the destination for soul-seekers and party animals who have a serious need to let their hair down. It’s a gay paradise
As if Thailand wasn’t already one of the most queer-friendly destinations, gCircuit Songkran notoriously attracts thousands of gay people from across the globe to celebrate in Bangkok – and the event has done so since 2007. An estimated 8,000 attendees party each night of the four-day circuit festival in Thailand’s capital, and that number grows every year.
It should come as no surprise that Songkran is lovingly dubbed Thailand’s annual ‘Gay Migration’. Pair this with the fact that it takes place in arguably one of the most beautiful countries on earth – rich with culture and idyllic landscapes – and you have yourself the perfect getaway!
gCircuit Songkran trumps with the best venues
Thousands of migrating gays will need big venues once they land, and Bangkok isn’t short of amazing spaces to host out-of-this-world events. gCircuit Songkran 2023 will be split between two venues: The Royal Orchid Sheraton for the daytime pool parties, and the Centara Grand at CentralWorld for the evening parties.

gCircuit Songkran 2023 has confirmed an outstanding line-up of internationally acclaimed DJs, including Mor Avrahami, Tom Stephan, Erick Ibiza, Isis Muretech, Ivan Gomez, Nacho Chapado, and Alex Acosta (official remixer for Rihanna, Nick Jonas, and Ariana Grande). The event will also showcase some of Asia’s hottest DJs, such as Chu, Preeda Tony, Sun J, and many more. Expect nonstop dancing and electrifying music from start to finish.
